Venus was not always as it is now. A hundred million years ago, it was a world as beautiful as Earth, or more beautiful: Earth's sister, a blue and green jewel of a world.

You are one of the great wizards of Old Venus. You live in an age of high adventure and exacting magic, now lost forever!

The Lost Spells of Venus is a party game for 3 or more. It's set in the high-fantasy world of Old Venus. It's based on Eat Poop You Cat, with a surrounding structure inspired by the wizardry in Jack Vance's Dying Earth and Lyonesse books. It's a hoot.

I am the wizard Klogue of the Quietly Grave. In order to protect my magical seclusium from an intruder, a malicious plasmic creature of the lower atmosphere, I undertook to invoke a gust of rising cold. My magic, however, pervolved in several phases, and untimately my gust of rising cold became a scuba-ouija board of ocean ghosts!
